About This Project
Mary Davies Library and Community Centre required a highly customised virtual tour of their location and facilities to boost online exposure and engagement to existing and potential members.
With the location containing multiple state-of-the-art facilities and a variety of specialised spaces for hire, the virtual tour was designed to be an interactive and informative showcase of all areas, allowing visitors to explore and inspect the spaces in 360 degrees online via their mobile device or desktop computer.
A primary aim of the project was to provide another option for interested clients to view the hire spaces and facilities remotely without the need to book an appointment to come and inspect in person. Booking forms and other documents are all easily accessible within the tour.
In addition, the level of interactivity the tour provides helps alleviate staff of the sometimes tricky task of trying to explain the details and features over the phone.
The virtual tour is optimised using the latest browser technologies to ensure future compatibility and the user interface is designed to function seamlessly with mobile devices and computers with varying display sizes.
Virtual Reality via Google Cardboard headsets is also integrated to allow immersive viewing when the tour is viewed via smartphone devices.
The client also opted for a Google Street View Trusted virtual tour to complement the customised version to enhance exposure on Google properties and optimise search presence.
